I’ll also be writing a couple of the charts, but we have some music from names you’ll recognize more than mine as well! I’m hitting the ground running today, getting the word out!

Great American Drum Corps Logo sample 2Saturday, July 4th, 2026, the United States Semiquincentennial (also called Sestercentennial or Quarter Millennial) will be the 250th anniversary of the 1776 United States Declaration of Independence (formally "The unanimous Declaration of the thirteen United States of America"). Festivities will be scheduled in Philadelphia to mark various events leading up to the anniversary on July 4, 2026. We aim to have the drum and bugle corps activity showcased for this historic celebration since drum and bugle corps have played an integral role throughout our nation's history. What better way to celebrate our nation's birthday than to be in Philadelphia for the Welcome America festivities?
